Happy Father's Day

My husband is an incredible Dad.  I don't just say that because it is Father's Day, but find myself saying it to myself on a regular basis.  He not only loves our kids like crazy when it is easy to do so but he loves them like crazy when it is hard.  He is such an involved dad.  He feeds them, dresses them, plays with them, disciplines them, cuddles them, and spends more time with them then most dads that I know.  I am a blessed wife because of this.  Thank you my love for being the best Dada our kids could ask for.

Also on this day I often think of the kids (and adults) who either do not have dads in their life at all or have dads in their life that have treated them terribly.  It makes my heart hurt because I have been blessed with two incredible dads (my dad and my stepdad).  Both of these incredible men walked me down the isle on my wedding day.  They have help mold and shape me into who I am today.  I also have a Heavenly Father that is not only my third Father but a Father to the the Fatherless.  Our God is there to heal the brokenness that comes from not having a daddy in your life.  He loves each of us unconditionally and desires to be our daddy.  It is the desire of His heart to be a Father to the Fatherless!!

Sing to God, sing praises to his name;

     lift up a song to him who rides through the deserts;his name is the Lord;    exult before him!
