Special Day for Callie and Kessler

Dave and I wanted to have a special day for Callie and Kessler before our family of 4 became a family of 5.  We did the same thing for Callie before Kessler was born, so we wanted to keep with the tradition.  We celebrated the kids all day long and filled our day with their activities and food of choice.

Not sure what we had for breakfast but most likely it included cereal and blueberries.  After that we got loaded up and headed to Pump It Up.  It is a huge warehouse filled with inflatable toys, slides, obstacle courses, and jumping castles for kids to go crazy on.  They both loved it.  Callie took off on her own from the moment we walked in the room.  Kessler was a little more skeptical at first but after his first slide, he couldn't get enough.  After a long morning at Pump It Up the kids were ready for some lunch at Chick-Fil-A.  Then home for naps (key part in making our day end well).  When the kiddos woke up from their naps we headed to the pool for some family swim time.  Callie is a fish and Kessler likes to take a dip and then get out and have his snack in the sunshine.  To end our night we had home-made bbq chicken pizza that they got to top and an all time favorite dessert, cookies and ice cream.  They got to eat dinner and dessert while watching a show (a rare treat).

It was a great time for our family and fun way for Dave and I to bless our children.  We are so thankful for both of them and can't wait to add a third child to the mix.  Children are a blessing from God and knowing that we will have three in the very near future excites me and overwhelms me at the same time.  What a treasure my kids are!  We celebrate you Callie and Kessler and the big sister and brother that you are going to be to our precious Kylah!!
