Fourth of July Tradition

Last year on the Fourth of July we decided to start a tradition of making red (or pink), white and blue pancakes for breakfast.  Our family loves pancakes so why not add some fun festive flare to a yummy breakfast.  We color the pancake batter red, add blueberries to the pancakes and then squirt the pancakes with whip cream.  Yummy!!!  What a great way to start off the celebration of our countries Independence.  We truly are blessed to live here in America!

Last year on the fourth of July in our house in Tacoma, WA.  What a difference a year makes!!

My big boy in a booster seat eating all by himself this year.  He has his very own pancake,  not a sprinkling of cheerios.

My beautiful girl and handsome husband enjoying the grub in our new house in Tucson, Az this year.

That looks good enough to eat.  I wan't trying to make a sad face, it just turned out that way.
