Callie's 4th Birthday

I know this is cliche but, I can't believe my girl is 4.  That is one year from 5 and that much closer to starting kindergarten and that much closer to going to college, getting married and having children of her own.  Maybe this is a little overboard but as fast as the last four year of my life have gone, those moments are quickly approaching.  I love my Callie girl more then words can express.  She brings so much joy and laughter to my day and smiles to others.  She has such a sweet, compassionate personality.  She is not afraid to be who God created her to be.  I love that she is unique and not afraid to go against the flow.  She loves the color blue with all her heart for as long as I can remember her liking a color, she loves dinosaurs and bats as well as princesses and fairies.  She is a girly girl with a fierce side that could rival any boy.  For her birthday Dave and I got her plastic dinosaurs, a bat costume (she loved), and the movie "Cinderella."  Soon she had her new Arielle doll riding on the back of her dinosaurs.

We had a great Day celebrating her birthday.   Dave and I decorated her chair at the dining room table the night before so that when she woke up, she would feel special.  I made her blueberry, Mickey Mouse pancakes for breakfast and then we got ready and headed to the zoo with our friends the Andersens.  After a long, much needed nap, we headed to Peter Piper Pizza to have dinner and ride the Merry-Go-Round.  The Garner family, papa, and Tia joined us to help celebrate Callie's birthday.  It was a fun day filled with friends and family.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY PRECIOUS CALLIE!!!!

Her special birthday seat all decorated for when she woke up.

Post present opening; dinosaurs from us, computer from Yama and Pa, and Arielle doll from her cousin Ria.

Birthday morning breakfast; blueberry, Mickey Mouse pancakes.

Feeding the giraffes at the zoo.

Playing with our friends on the giant boulder.  People probably thought we were crazy (2 moms and 7 kids).

Sitting on the elephant statue.  This might be the hit of the zoo.

The merry-go-round at Peter Piper Pizza.  Notice Kess in the background.

Having pizza with the Garners.

Everything is so exciting with Callie.  We were singing Happy Birthday to her here.

Her bat wings!!  This girl was so excited about this.  She usually uses a hooded towel for bat wings.
