Gramma's Birthday

We headed up to Prescott the weekend before my beautiful mom's birthday on October 16th to help celebrate with her.  It truly could have been a disaster with how much Kylah hates the car seat.  She usually cries every time I put her in it.  But the trip up there was amazing (except for the large ticket Dave received), I don't even think she cried.  The way home was a different story.  Anyway it was a great weekend for all of us.  Callie and Kessler didn't want to leave, and I have to admit, I didn't want to either.  It is really nice to get a little break from the daily routine and heat of Tucson.  Mom and I got to get out, with out the kids and just sit and drink some Chia Tea.  It was glorious!!  The kids made a cake for Gramma while we were gone, to celebrate her birthday.  Happy Birthday mama.  I love you and I hope I am as beautiful as you are when I turn your age.

My little chefs!

Every good chef has to taste the batter.  You know that dad is behind the camera with a chocolate face and fingers as well.

What is a cake without the sprinkles?

I love capturing my mom mid-laugh.  She is so beautiful.

Everyone got their own candles to blow out.

The cake was delicious.  Notice my empty plate in the left corner
