Ellie's Visit

At the beginning of September we had a great friend come and visit us all the way from Tacoma.  Her and her entire family hold a very special place in my heart.  Being away from family in Tacoma, the Watson's became our family away from family.  The Lord knew what he was doing when he placed them in our lives.  We rented the basement apartment of the house that they rented and immediately fell in love with the whole family.  They were at the birth of Callie, and witnessed me laying on the kitchen floor when Kessler was born.  I helped home-school the kids, went to their sporting events, and spent tons of quality time with the whole family eating, talking, playing games and laughing.  I miss them so much and having Ellie here with us reminded me just how much.  She was a huge help to me (as she always has been) in the crazy stage of life that I am in.  At one point she was bouncing a crying Kylah on a ball and read a story to Callie and Kessler at the same time.  She and her sister were the best babysitters ever and you can see why.  I love the Watson family and loved the precious time with Ellie here in Tucson.  Let's see if I can convince her to become a Wildcat after she graduates from high school this year.

Ellie and Kylah

This was a typical scene while she stayed with us.  What a trooper she is!  Despite how Callie and Kessler look, they loved having Ellie stay with us.

We had to show Ellie A-mountain, after all she is going to go to the University of Arizona (I hope).

The kids love climbing on the painted rocks.

The great view of the city is a little windy.  This picture is hilarious.  Kessler is the only one with his hair not blowing in his face.

Much better.  We can actually see your face Ellie :)

Stopping for Sonoran Dogs.  An Arizona must eat!!!  This little food truck is a family favorite.  And as always when I want to eat Kylah feels the need to eat as well.

We love you Ellie and loved every minute you were with us.  We miss you so much and look forward to the next visit from you and hopefully Lillie!!!
