Lillie.....We Miss You!!

Sometimes you forget how much you miss someone till they come back for a visit after going two years without seeing each other.  Lillie is that person.  We lived with her family back when Dave and I lived in Tacoma, WA.  I homeschooled her when she was in 5th grade and she was at the birth of Callie and almost made it to Kessler's birth.  She is such a part of our family that having her come stay with us, felt like....family.  I love how she loves my kids and finds such joy is spending time with them.  We ate really good food, played games, and laughed a lot while she was here.  I miss her so much my heart hurts sometimes.  I can't wait to have her at our house again, very soon!!!

Getting the view of the City from the top of A Mountain.

Climbing the "A"

Lillie's first In-n-Out Burger

So Yummy!!

I love this cuteness.  Kessler was 11 months old when he saw Lillie last but he loved her from the moment  he saw her.

Reading to all three kids.  Lillie is incredible at loving kids (especially my kids).  It truly is a gift.

Eating Sonoran hotdogs at El Nene.  Everyone much experience this if they come to Tucson.

Hiking on Mt. Lemmon.

Eating again!!  The best invention, pulled pork chips.  Yummy.

Hiking along the creek minutes before.......

All HAIL broke loose!!

We are taking inches of hail on the road for 30 or more minutes beating down on our car.  You will notice the broken windshield wipers and build up of hail.

And the man who had to brave the storm to try and rig them so we could make it home safely!!

The family enjoying our last night with Lil...sniff, sniff!!

All I can say is I hope that Lillie enjoyed her tour of the University of Arizona because we are banking on her going there in two years so we can be around her more.  We love Lillie, my kids couldn't get enough of her, and I laughed more then I have in a long time when she was here.  What a fun time we had.  We love you Lillie and can't wait for your return trip to see us!
