Introducing Officer Cox of the Oro Valley Police Department

Last Tuesday my brother was sworn in to the position of Police Officer for the Town of Oro Valley.  My dad worked for this same department after he retired from the Sheriffs Department, almost 17 years ago.    I couldn't be prouder of my brother.  When he walked into the court room in his uniform, I lost it.  This has been a dream of his for so long and it was finally a reality.  He looked so handsome and proud to be in that uniform.  What an accomplishment for him and my emotions got the best of me.  Some may have thought I was crying because of the scorpion that came crawling out of the diaper bag I was carrying on my back seconds before Robert walked in the room but it really was the sight of my brother in his uniform.  I am one PROUD sister!!

Judge swearing him in.

Robert receiving his badge from the Chief.

Kelli pinning his badge on.  Look at that smile!!

The proud parents.

Me and baby Kylah getting a picture with the new Officer Cox.

Linda and Fred Porter showing their support.  Robert will be pulling these two over for fun!

Following in some pretty amazing footsteps.  The proud dads!!
